3. Slate

Formation and Characteristics:

A type of metamorphic rock with a layered structure.

Advantages:

Higher hardness than sandstone but lower than granite.

4. Sandstone

Formation and Characteristics:

Advantages:

Lower hardness and brittleness, requiring careful handling.
